This is our debut Feature Film produced by Chichester FilmMakers, and as such we are about to begin various activities to help with fund raising, whilst continuing with production planning and script development.   Fund raising activities largely require an immense amount of marketing effort in order to raise awareness within the local community, across West Sussex and Hampshire, as well as the film industry, in order to attract the donations and investment required to pay for the cast, crew, kit and services needed to make the film.  As an Indie production, every £pound raised will be used efficiently and effectively towards the making of the film and only for this film.  We are also  hoping to supplement a little budget from public funding, but this cannot be counted on, despite large increases in tax thresholds for British film productions from April 2025. 
A new menu tab will appear here in the coming days focussing on our fund raising activities.

A key element to achieving the budget (that is needed to pay cast and crew, hire kit and fund post-production) for the feature film production,  will be to produce 2 initial presentation sub-projects.  These will both require the same level of attention to detail and high-quality film making as was given to The Barn (created in 2024), and are needed to form an integral part of our investor presentation package.  These will greatly assist with presenting the story and genre of Final Truth, as well as our approach to project management, planning, and creative execution, to potential donors and investors, whilst also helping to attract A-Lister actors to the lead roles in the feature film, as well as providing a platform for attaching cast and crew from the local community (both aspiring and professional).   

As with THE BARN, everyone that helps and supports the making, production and distribution of the film will receive screen credits, recommendations and written references for their professional contributions.

Consequently, at this point in time (March 2025) we anticipate for the Final Truth project to create 2 short films (presentations) and then the feature film.    The 2 short films form key parts of the film's overall story, and are both very different in terms of their deliverables, including: sets, cast, costumes, props etc, and will likely be comprised of:

• Ancient Egypt flashbacks (studio based with CGI)

• Modern day physical chase scene through the streets of Chichester (2 day shoot - weather permitting)

Cast and Crew calls will begin to appear on our Chichester FilmMakers Facebook Group and social media in the coming weeks for these 2 short films. 
Right now, we are particularly keen to work with local (Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset):

• Stunt coordinators with any experience in: Hand-to-hand combat; Parachuting; Fire-arms; Motorcycle

• co-Producers (ideally with stunt action, or, VFX, or, casting experience).  Additional co-Producers will be required for the feature film

• Art Directors and Production Designers (including aspiring)

• skilled CGI artists (Nuke, Houdini, Blender)
